  1. Please include the description of your Theme Camp of Village that you would like to have included on the Burning Man website. Maximum of 5000 chars.

    Tikidom, the people who brought you the Rolling Tiki Bar in 2002 and the Cuddlebug Camp last year, want to take you to the stars. Ride the disco bus or let the supernova dragon lead you to the celery-peanut-butter supernova dome for daily yoga, snacks, art and performances.

    About placement:

    The Esplanade:
    This is the first street at the front of the city and faces the Man. It is reserved for camps that have:

    1. 24 hour interactivity

    2. Completely conceived visual scheme

    3. Playa-frontage needs, small art installations across the Esplanade.

    4. Must be on the playa by Monday, 8.30.2004 by 6 PM

    Non-Esplanade:
    This is a high visibility location on the streets behind the Esplanade.

    1. Located within the city limits.

    2. This is for fun interactive camps without need for playa frontage.

    3. Camps must be on site by Tuesday, 8.31.2004 by 10 PM

    Center Camp:
    Highly interactive camps that fit into the center camp "groove" with 20 people or less. Camps must be in by Sunday, 8.29.2004 and running by Monday, 8.30.2004

    The Plazas:
    Highly interactive camps that fit into the plaza area "groove" with 20 people or less. Camps must be in by Sunday, 8.29.2004 and running by Monday, 8.30.2004 by 6 PM.

    Large Scale Sound Art: Located at the ends of the city, this area is filled depending on space availability and reserved for camps with large sound systems. After these spaces are filled, you will not be able to bring your system. Camps must be on site by Tuesday, 8.31.2004 by 10 PM

    Villages or large Theme Camps: Must be on site by Monday, 8.30.2004 by 6 PM

    To complete the questionnaire process, we need a plan for each project in your camp area. Pleae keep the following in mind.

    1. Keep it simple

    2. Include a 2D top-down view with all dimensions in feet (please convert meters to feet)

    3. If possible, include a 2D front view.

    4. Label major objects within the project.

    5. Send it to us by July 1st.

    6. We also need a cleanup plan. It should include:

      1. A description of how your camp will clean up as it goes

      2. A description of how your theme camp plans to clean up after the event

      3. Examples of cleanup plans are available

      4. We recommend that a point person is assigned to be responsible for this task and that they develop a team to support them.
